pet army (Guild Wars 2)
We can have a minion army with a MM in our group, and with the possibility of a pet stable in Guild Wars 2, an idea came to me - how about a pet army instead of a minion army? Yes minion armies can stay too but for some people they could have a pet army. And if the pet dies, of course it can be resurrected. So it would be just like now only you could bring more than one pet. Unlike with MM's where if one dies you have to have a corpse close to you to bring it back and you have to sacrifice health to keep it alive. And, with the new companion system, perhaps the pet skills would be on their own bar so you could still have attack skills. What does everyone think?

stable where you can have all your pets /signed
pet army? /notsigned i think it would be far too over powered - the way i am imagining it... but say having 2 or 3 pets out /signed, that would be good fun.
lets just wait and see what the beta is like and make another judgment off that.

good idea if its like this, players need to have at least 9 on Beast Mastery (a suggested attribute points requirement) to be able to summon NEAR BY animal to your aid. Second requirements for this is that there has to be animals nearby.
Call to the Wild 10-30 Energy 0 Casting Time 0 Recharge time
Shout. Nearby friendly animals come to your aid. Bond is lost if your health drops below 50% Costing 10 Energy if Friendly Animals is within earshot, 20 if animals is nearby 30 if its in the area
no casting or recharge time as its maintain by your health, if you are deem by the animals as not worth of the Alpha status they will leave, ie: health drop to below 50%

Ok. If I kill people in AB, I should get access to all his pets in his companion system as undead pets under my control.

If u want a pet army the ranger would be overpowered.
for example 1 ranger has 10pets( 16beast-mastery)
the elite of the ranger is Enraged Lunge.
This ranger does Enraged Lunge when he has 3 recharging beast-mastery skills
then that ranger does minimun 24*3*10=720 damage
so u can spike anyone in gvg on your own

It's GW2.
So you'd never know if pets get HUGELY nerf'ed (That is; damage reduced by 30%, max level lowered to 18 (Bone Fiend - 16 Death Magic), stuff like that)
Nor do you know which size of the army the OP recommended
Also, there have been reports that GW will have a new companion system - Meaning, you can choose for a companion, the same way you would for a hero, but if you do, your own character becomes a little less stronger. The other way around if you don't get the hero. Maybe it'll be that way with pets aswell?
If there ever would be a possibility to have more pets than one at the same time on field, I would say 3 max.

I don't think there would be a maximun lvl for pet because pet are like chars(especially not that low), living creatures and in gw2 u have unlimited lvl(or LVL 100) for your char so your pet will lvl 2

Be interesting to see hero pets
Either an option to recuit you own pet as a hero and customise its skills.
This would mean you wouldnt need to put these on your skill bar.
OR
Actual heroes who are of animal stock rather than humanoid.

Very neat ideas from everyone. Yeah, perhaps there could be a limit on how many pets you can have at once, like I think minions you can have perhaps 10 tops, or so I've seen. For animals, perhaps a max of 3-5 would be good, and I love the idea of letting them have a customized skill bar like heroes.

Throws balance out the window with one class (Ranger). Unless you had to have Charm Animal equiped for each pet you'd bring, it would be too powerful. Come up with a way to keep it balanced, then resubmit the idea. Currently, this is one the Devs don't even look at, just toss it in the round recycle bin next to the desk.

If implemented in GW2 (hopefully not), I'd imagine it'd be painfully slow to level up... Eventually, it'd be like 5 level 10 deldrimor dwarves trying to take on Mursaat.
